The LAVC Art Gallery, in partnership with the LAVC Rainbow Pride Center, invite LAVC's LGBTQ+ campus community for an artist-led workshop. In "Put Me Out to Pasture," artist Dakota Noot re-creates food and other animals in fantastical cutout installations. The work mirrors the aesthetics of coloring books and theater backdrops. Noot draws references to local beaches through sea life, distant farms in a barnyard, and cowboy imagery.
